[Haffie]

Hello im currently in france but im scottish and planning on returning to scotland in 2016 with my pony.

Shes a haflinger, dont know if there's many haffies in britian would love to know if there's any other haffie owners out there?

Would attach a pic but don't know how at the moment! She's 12 yo and the most intelligent horse or pony i've ever come across.

Im hoping to find out from other members the best transport options to get her from here to scotland - i posted in the transport section - and to find out about different riding schools in scotland... Not sure where ill be going yet, hoping oban... I need to find out the riding stable fees and what ill be doing with myself etc.

I can highly recommend Eric Gillie transport, though I am not sure how regularly they go to France, worth a phone, they are excellent

There are many Hafi's in the UK now. Twenty years ago they were more of an oddity but they are now very popular and with good reason, I think ��. Do you need a riding school or is it livery for your pony you're looking for?

yeah, they're really truly special - although i'm sure everyone thinks the same of their own pony breed lol

i'm not really sure what i'm looking for yet - everything is so unorganised that the moment. i'd be happy to have her in field share, or to have her at a riding stables where maybe they could use her for hacking to help cut riding stables costs (she can't be used in the ring though because she's like a big lazy potato in the ring and i don't want people whipping her) or at a riding stables where i could work there a bit towards the cost of her keep. i'm not going to have much money and just want to do the best i can for her without having to rehome her or put her on full loan.
