Hello & Help needed also

Hi all, i am fairly new to the forum and although i have posted replys in the odd occasion this is the first time i have actually posted a question!! Just wondering if any of you lovely people out there have had any experience with a horse with pedal osteitis?

My Lovely boy that i bought ' of the track' last year developed a severe abcess last september in his off fore, well after an op and 9 months off work he is returning to work.

Only problem is he has been left with pedal osteitis in this foot and we do not really now how long he may remain sound for

So any suggestions/ help really appreciated, thankyou all.
