Joined today and am looking forward to all the conversations. Owned horses in former days and still hang around a stable or two. I live in the Pacific Northwest and would like to dispell the rumor that horses here have webbed feet because of the rain. No, they have hooves just like the others. A shout out to fellow Northwesterners, you in France, wish I could go back there, and to everyone else for whom the aroma of oats, hay, saddle leather, wood shavings, liniment, and manure is a transport to Heaven. Heels down, hands down, head up!

With the paraphrasing of "Have gun, will travel" from the wild West TV show, I presume you also have full cowboy gear, lasso on your saddle horn, spurs that jingle jangle, and the biggest Stetson hat anybody ever saw.
Nice horse, by the way. Would look good in a Kevin Costner movie.
