Hello Guys

My cousin is selling her horse - what do you think for price?

Tri Coloured mare traditional (although middleweight) mare evenly marked
14hh - rising 7 years old
Ride and drive - although not been driven for 1 year
Fab temprement
Fantastic flashy paces - very firey high knee action (welsh x)
100% shoe, box, lead, clip, bath, catch (gallops to call!)
Great to hack out on own or in company
100% bombproof - not spooky - good in heavy traffic
Loves X country + jumping + never refuses
Good breaks
A bit green in school but moving straight and very honest and teachable
Very affectionate
No vices + never sick or sorry
Been to a few local shows and behaved perfectly.
Comes with good quality tack and full wardrobe of rugs
Not quite for a novice as is a very loud and in your face pony who loves life and is very energetic!

Only vice is - she loves to trot when she gets on a long straight road - puts her litte neck down - and off she goes in the most beautiful workman like trot?!! Little ears picked?!! This is easily stopped she has really good breakes - we thought it may be a driving pony traight? Not sure but she seems to loev doing it!! Doesnt go fast tho?
Open to any vet

we thought 2500? opinions please - dont have a picci Im afraid

Im not really good with prices but im sure you could get more that £2500. Sounds like it would make a fantastic pony for someone. Really depends what people are willing to pay I suppose but she sounds like she would make a nice little all rounder.

Hello

Thanks - she really is a star and I would have her in a heart beat but mine is the same type and I cant really afford two !!

People have said she is worth more but we want to keep it realistic.

:-)

I think it would be snapped up at that price, shame your so far away

Ahh - thanks
She has had an offer for her already but it was from a family that said they would be putting her in working livery as they could afford to do it any other way ....... But cousin said no way as she is far too good for a riding school and if you cant afford a horse completly you shouldnt have one +and what if the working livery stopped - what would happen to poor pony! Dont blame cousin - she is being really choosy about the peeps she goes to as she is a cracking little friend.

Agree with hatters, IMO id put has been previously driven in the advert not ride and drive, as for us driving people its very frustration trying to work out what ponies need bringing back into driving or are driving atm. IMO

Haz

Thanks

We just wondered about her size for price ? She jumps 3ft well and goes to about 4ft at home. She really is fab.

I am sad to see her go - as is my cousin - I love ponies !!! :-(

Hello

Thanks for that but we werent using this ad to sell her - this is just a description for here to see what peeps would pay

Will keep that in mind tho - she is being put in trap next week to make sure she hasnt forgotten!!

:-)

Think you could get £3k for her, she sounds like she could be a ery fun allrounder, and nice coloureds are really selling ATM

I would suggest trying her at 3k, esp as she has good tack, 14hh is a good size for a mother and daughter cob, esp as she has good jumping ability. I agree with the riding and driving bit, our first pony was supposed to be ride and drive we never drove her so were not able to advise potential purchasers of his ability. People got quite cranky about it!

Hello

Thanks for the helpful comments !! :-)

Cousin has had her since 2 year old and we both broke her to drive ourselves and she was driven until aug last year as cousin sold trap - so will advertise her as broken to drive instead - although we have got a small dog cart to use now so she will be back in it next week. :-) she has a harness but its worth a good 500 quid so we are keeping that for my driving pony otherwise it would go with her! :-)

I would say you could put her up for sale for £3500, considering she is bombproof and coloured, both of which will bump the price up, and her tack is included! She sounds lovely. Ponies are the best!
