Hello all!
Very new to the forums but looks like a friendly place so thought I'd join and hopefully stick around!
I have absolutely no riding experience but past few weeks I've been trying to read a lot about riding. I've said a lot of things to my girlfriend recently that started with, 'so I read about these two riding schools on his amazing forum' or 'as per some experienced people on the forum it is never too late to start learning to ride so there is hope!'. I guess it probably became a bit too much for her and because she's lovely she just booked me a ride as a surprise in London. I was a bit stunned after finding out how much it cost for me to sit on a horse and walk with little bit of trotting for approximately five miles with an instructor on another horse pulling the horse I was on!
On a serious note, I think I may be a bit too old and heavy to become a work rider but I will make a separate post in relevant forum to have any feedback.
Anyway, that's just me! Hope you all have a good day ahead.
