Does anyone else feel the need to accumulate rugs like there's no tomorrow?

I've just decided to buy 8 rugs from a friend who's sold her horse who was conveniently the same size as Flash, who already has a bigger wardrobe than me! My argument is that there's nothing worse than not being able to find a dry rug in winter, and it's good to layer on the fleeces when wimpy clipped horse feels the cold!

Please reassure me that this uncontrollable buying of rugs is normal!?

Yes I am as bad and it's not just rugs either. My trainer/ YO can't understand how come I have more stuff for one horse than she does for all of hers LOL. I just can't help it and I'm convinced my horse needs all this stuff!!!

Just brought another rug for Lady she now has a grand total of 8 turnout rugs

& Fudge has six turnout and both have a fleece, a sweet rug and a medium weight stable rug, even though they have both lived out for two years

yikes, how many is that!? All for one horse! 20 I think, and I'm sure there are others I've forgotten!

I now dont feel bad that i'm away to buy another h/w turnout and exercise rug
I have many rugs for a horse who didnt used to be rugged untill she came to me!

I've just given about 7 rugs to the DSPCA as I have really too many! I still have to beat myself with a stick to stop going out and buying more!
