Hello! :)

Just thought i should introduce myself. I have been reading the forum with interest over the past few days and thought it was about time I started to post, I had actually registered over a year ago but didn't realise!

I'm 24 and live in lancashire. I have a fantastic and lovable horse who is kindly on loan to me. He is around 16hh welsh X TB dark bay gelding and is going to be 15 in may although he certainly doesn't act it!!

We mainly do (or try to do!) dressage and try and get out and about to shows as much as we can. Due to ill health and work haven't got out at all over winter but I have high hopes for this spring and summer! I would like to do some jumping, we have done a bit in the past but he had never done it before and found it all a bit daunting unless we did it very regularly! He does like to have a blast around the fields too.

I am currently off work recovering from viral meninigitis and starting to go a bit crazy! Very keen to get down to the yard to see him and get riding again, going to venture down later this afternoon and see what i can do!

xx

Sorry for loads of pics folks! I do love my boy!

yes it wasn't particularly pleasant but not as scary as 'proper meningitis' ie the bacterial type. 3 days in hospital was plenty enough for me!

He's called Elliott, show name Penelldyth Loch Monarch.

i'm very lucky to have him!

oops cross posted!

thanks for the kind comments. going through all our pics has cheered me up thats for sure!

We try our best to look good as the performance is usually somewhat lacking!! lol
