Hello! I thought I'd introduce myself after a friend (narkymare) recomended it to me.
So, a little about me:

my name is Melissa and I'm 19 from Kilmarnock in Scotland, I'm going on to do my HND in equine studies at oatridge college after the summer, after completing my ANC & HNC already. I have 6 horses - 2 fjord geldings and 4 shetland ponies. My fjords are called Minty and Loki. Minty is 11 and 14.3hh, I do everything with him - from in-hand showing, to hacking and jumping at home. Loki is rising 3yrs old and 14.1hh and I'm in the process of breaking him.
My shetlands are called Teiko, Willow, Charlie and Cherry. I show Teiko in-hand as a minature as he has good breeding and is very handsome, I drive Willow in trap, currently breaking Charlie to trap (she is rising 4; and is Willow's baby) and Cherry is only 3months old, also Willow's baby (Teiko is her father, we got him castrated after he covered Willow).

I look forward to getting to know you all a little better :)

Hey mxv, another Scot here, in Dundee at the moment but shortly moving to the borders.

That's a yard full of handsome beasties you have there, you never need to worry about too many photos on here!
 
hi welcome, im from Alloa and also went to Oatridge and done my HNC and D2, finished in 2005. how is it nowadays?

I know a few people from Alloa way that currently go to oatridge - i don't know if SNEC was there when you went but we have some fab facilities! Just sad that next year will be my last!

And yes, thanks for the comments about my ponies - definately a yard full and a lot of work to keep them all happy and out of trouble (which is very difficult, especially with shetlands and fjords!) but it's all worth it and i'm very lucky!

Lol, Well I'm in Irvine - stable my horses in Dalry :)
Amazing how many of us there are from Ayrshire actually, i had no idea!
 
Welcome! I went to Oatridge in 2000 - 2001. Best thing i learnt to do there was drink!!! And they sure as hell didnt have a costa coffee when i was there!!!! Are you enjoying it?

One of my friends lives in Dalry!!!
