Hello to everyone, I've just registered. I am from Dorset but I live in Tuscany now. I have a 24 yr old gelding (quarter horse) and a 20 yr old donkey. I got them from the local knacker exactly one year ago. I have a question to ask but perhaps this is not the right place. It's to do with yellow, crusty scabs at the base of the mane. Should I wait? Start a new thread? Sorry but I'm a total deadloss with this sort of thing. (Never been in a forum before.)

Things are starting to get better now. It has been awful, but not as bad as up north towards Milan, Bergamo and Cordogno. Here, where I am, near Pescia (between Florence and Pisa) we've only had 3 cases and all 3 recovered, luckily. But a couple of weeks ago the death rate was terrible. I'm lucky to have a house in the middle of a large wood, with a bit of land, so the lock down doesn't really affect me too much. Now it's nice and sunny, warm from midday to afternoon, so perhaps The Virus will go away. I hope so. How are you all back in the UK?

We are just ramping up now. And the PM has just gone into Intensive Care :( . I hope you don't get a resurgence.
