Hello, I thought I'd do the decent thing and introduce myself and stop lurking (because I'm working from home, so won't get into trouble from the bosses). I'm in my twenties, been riding since a kid, used to have TBs but after a couple of bad falls have joined the cob-type brigade.
I've got a 5 year old cleveland bay x welsh x mountain goat (meg) mare, had her for a couple of years and am slowly schooling her in the art of going forward...
I also ride my mum's happy hacker (chloe) who is a mini clysdale x shire x ? and safe as houses for her. I've just started competing her, and she's showing a bit of promise at local level dressage (jumping is just too much effort).
Sorry, rambled on too much already... Hi all!!!!

I'm slightly worried about getting addicted, but I think it might be a bit late for that.

They're not really the most photogenic of horses. This (if it's worked) is Big Chlo in the field, showing off her massive tail.

I wouldn't really call chloe sweet, she's a grumpy madam who likes her own space, and standing still... just out of the picture is my mum who is dragging her up the field.
Your boy looks lovely, what breed is he?

Definitely a gorgeous boy. He looks a bit mischevious in that photo. I do miss the unique TB sense of humour...

[/ QUOTE ]Thankies... michevious is definately his middle name...

Last time he went on a wander round the yard I found him here...
