Hi I'm new! I couldn't find an introduction section so I hope it's ok here?

I'm Eve, I'm 24 and I live in Surrey with my pony Sandy, a welsh section c mare who has just turned 5. I got her last January as a rescue case as she was semi-abandoned in a field for three years with the owner chucking hay and feed over the fence for her and her 2 field companions once a day. Subsequently she was very feral when I first got her - it took 4 people over half an hour just to get a headcollar on! I spent a few months just doing groundwork with her then backed myself last April, I then spent the next 8 months getting her through the 'naughty youngster stage'! Nothing nasty just some spinning and napping, but we persevered and now she is coming on well.
I also have another pony who is out on loan at the moment, due to my current poor health I was struggling to manage them both as I am on a DIY yard. Olly is an 8 year old cob gelding who I got as a 5 year old. He is another rescue, he was used as a driving pony and was chucked out in a field then pulled out every few months driven then put back so hadn't been ridden when I got him although was backed. I got him from a 'traveler' and it was soon apparent that he had been beaten  :( I can't fathom why as he is one of the most trusting, genuine and honest ponies I have ever met! I have had to take his training very slowly as he panics if you push him too hard. He is now at novice level.
The last of my crew is my crazy sheepdog x lurcher boy called Tan who is just coming up for 3, he has 2 speeds - stop and flat out! Again he is a rescue he was part of an unwanted farm litter and was going to be shot  when I found out I took him home straight away!

Well that's me and my crew

Eve!
