I'm new here so thought if say hi...I'm not sure if introductions are the done thing but any excuse to post pics! I have a welsh D ride and drive who I play at showing, do Horse Driving Trials and generally have fun with, and a 2 year old homebred hunter (my one and only... Bred to replace his mum!) he'll be doing the same job as my welshie but hopefully will actually leave the ground from time to time (my section D is under the impression that poles are evil, logs are good but generally having more than one foot on terra firma at all times is best, so it makes for interesting jumping lessons) anyway- here are my boys!

And my two year old- now 15.3... I'm going to need a stepladder!

And why I should never turn my back on him at a show (we did the handy pony class HC to keep him occupied between the hunter youngstock and the championship... He did everything including helping me hang the washing out and fish for ducks! :D )

thankyou... theyre my pride and joy! My last two ride and drives have been ponies, although I've ridden friends horses on and off (and before I started driving I had an ex pointer 16.2 and a tb x Connie 15.1) so I think it just feels odd to me now... But I can't wait to get going with him! He's already been taught to stand at a mounting block, I did that long ago as soon as it became apparent he was going to go over the height I expected- he's out of my 15.1 mare and by a 16.1, I think he'll go to the same size as his dad now. I had hoped for a small hunter- I'm now hoping for a mediumweight!

:wavey: Not far from my pones. My old lady is on box rest/rehab at Leamside and the other three are about 3 miles from there at a yard I share with two friends.

Have three mares 22yo, 16yo, 5yo and a yearling colt. Latter two are homebreds from the old lady. The 5yo is stubbornly staying around 15.3hh and might squeak in at 16hh later on. Her baby brother is already clocking over 15hh at just on 18 months old so may be in same boat as you later on.
