Hello everyone. I couldn't find this section of the forum a few minutes ago, but now here it is! So forgive me for posting before introducing myself. I posted in the competition/training section.

Im back to owning my own horse after 8 years without one but facing lots of new challenges. I now live in southern France and finding it hard to get constructive help and advice so I think you'll be seeing a lot of me! I've bought, for my sins, an ex steeplechaser (who never ran), and am trying to get him readjusted to his new life as a riding horse. He's very intelligent, and very sensitive and probably the most interesting horse Ive owned. (he's my 8th horse). He's now 6 and a half.

Im looking forward to exchanging views and advice with all you very experienced people!

cheers!

Bien venue! Looking forward to hearing more. I'm sadly in muddy Angleterre. But can live vicariously through your adventures!

Thank you all! Im in the south east, in the Var. Dry dusty paddocks, no grass, rocky paths for hacking, baking heat 35-40 in the summer (ie. no riding for me!) no company, but I've a covered manege to myself most days at the riding school where he stays. Muddy Angleterre sounds good to me right now!

Cheers!
