I don't really do social media but I look to this site for advice and opinion and thought I would finally join in. I lost my two elderly and infirm horses last April and after saving hard and moonlighting a bit I bought a rising five ID gelding from Ireland. He arrived a fortnight ago and he is proving to be a lovely horse. I am pushing sixty so buying such a young, green horse was probably stupid but I wanted one that I could enjoy for years after retirement. No regrets though. He is so bouncy and elastic in comparison to my dear old pensioner who was arthritic and stumbled a lot. I'm looking forward to longer days and better weather and lots of riding:)

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry that you had some recent losses but I look forward to hearing about your new adventures. It sounds like the new boy is very different to your last horses. I wish you all the best with him.
