New member to the forum, but have been lurking for a couple of years just reading all the advice. I've been riding once or twice a week, for 10/15 plus years, on riding school horses and ponies and took the plunge last year to take on my first ever full loan pony. I've ended up with a hairy cob called Jim, who is so easy on the ground, a dream to muck out (doesn't like to wee in his stable and poos in one spot) but he's quite green schooling-wise and rather stubborn!
