Hello,
I’m a new horse owner and have been reading lots of useful information on here for a while so thought it’s about time I joined and said Hi.
This is Tommy, he’s 6 and is the love of my life as well as my dogs, cats and hens.
I have been riding on and off since I was a kid but only started back up again last year after a couple of years break so still a novice, I was sharing a horse but found the set days quite restrictive as I work full time so wanted the freedom to ride and visit when I wanted to so after 40 years Of waiting I finally bought my own.
He’s on a full livery which is owned by my RI so I’m having lessons with her 3 times a week to get my confidence up and so Tommy and I can get to know each other, the other days I go up and see him, take him out for a walk and chat or groom him so baby steps at the moment but there’s no rush.
He’s the most calm honest boy and is loving his new home and his new BFF field buddy so I’m very excited (and skint) for our future.
