I’m delighted to have joined such a lovely forum. I have a few reasons for joining - most of all because every time I google something I always find myself here. About time I joined!
I am mum to two little toddlers. We have land that used to be equestrian (a 4 acre field, and old ménage and what I think were called jumping lanes). The lady who had the property before us was a dressage judge. We are novices at land owning and having had our fingers burnt I’d love some sage advice.
In time, I’d love my little ones to become involved with horses. Not to just roll up at a riding school for half an hour a week. I’d like to see if they are interested and also for them to learn about horse care and see if they develop a passion.
At the same time, we’d like to use our land well and perhaps host some horses so I will hope to pick the brains of people who know about horses!
