Hi, I'm Char and I'm a teenager with two owned horses and one borrowed. The first one is a 17 hh 20 yo OTTB gelding named Cy, he is my first horse and he is a big pain but I love him. I've owned him for almost nine months and now that I know better I'm working on getting him fit over the winter so we can ride a lot in spring and summer (as opposed to just jumping on and running off). My second horse is a 4-5 yo mustang mare named Peekaboo, she's short and fat and I've met her just once but I love her too. Last month, I ended up being scammed out of quite a bit of money while attempting to buy a horse, and my instructor felt so bad because she pushed us to take the offer that she gifted me Peekaboo. She hasn't been started under saddle, so my plan is to refresh her groundwork and have her started by a trainer in December or January. The borrowed horse is a grade gelding named Rusty, he's about eight and he was a fantastic horse this summer, then he lost his little mind, we have no clue why. My instructor's husband is kind of infatuated with Rusty so he's taking him for 30 days this month and teaching me how to fix him. That's about all, nice to meet you guys!
