Just wanted to say hi and hello to you all. My 13 year old daughter only started riding last November and has progressed at a phenomenal rate. She shares 2 geldings. One is 18 year old 17.3 Irish Draught, he's semi retired due to a calcified tendon but he enjoys his weekly job of hacking with her, and he is an absolute gentleman. She also recently started sharing his brother. 10 year old 18h Belgian Warmblood. This guy has a reputation for a stinking attitude in general and has thrown/decked/launched everyone who has sat on him....... Apart from my daughter! He absolutely loves her, he turns into a big snuggly puppy when she touches him. Although he continues to throw some moves in protest at being asked to work, he doesn't try to get her off.
