I've been riding horses my whole life, I'm 51. I've also been an amateur barrel racer for about the last 20-25 years, and yet there is still so much I feel like I don't know, or so much I feel like I need to learn! My dad was one of the best horseman around; he passed in May 2023. With my dad around, all I ever had to do, was put one leg on each side and go! Now that he's gone, there's so much I'm trying to learn, and so much I wish I would have asked him (or payed more attention to) before his passing! Anyway, that's why I'm here. I want to learn as much as I can. I LOVE horses, and I know I can ride, but I also know there's so much more to it! I appreciate any wisdom anyone has to pass on! Thank you!

Not sure if you've spotted we're a UK based one, so it's unlikely you'll learn more about barrel racing here than you already know (am assuming you are possibly based in the US?), but plenty of other horse activities & knowledge covered. Look forward to hearing more from you too.
