Helmet Cam over a skull cap

Does a helmet camera band fit ok over a skull cap with a silk on it? I have a new skull cap but I dont want the skull cap to spring up because its silky?

Dunno if I’d trust silk as not much to grip to it I’d be worried about it moving but haven’t personally tried it!

The helmet cam has a sticky band but i would be worried it worked its way off ?

I got given the Techalogic camera for Xmas and I’m wearing it on my skull cap with a Le Mieux cover. I’ve even put my high viz hat band on top of the camera band.

I’ve been wearing mine over a silk but make sure the band goes slightly under the edges of the hat. So far not had any problems (and have been through some rather overgrown bridle paths and long hacks in high winds) but still early days for me as hat cam was a Christmas present.

It's fantastic! Took a bit of adjusting to get the right angles for best visibility, but it stays in place. First two times I hacked with it my head and hat felt all wrong.

Well im wondering if the skull will be better cause I can always see a wee bit of my hat ?

I sometimes use one, the hat band also goes over the top and seems very secure.

Saw this on an endurance lady's fb post, it was for a riding light but could be adapted to a camera?
She had stuck a piece of velco onto her hat, the the other piece to the light, she had the straps holding it on too

Yeah mine is side and you can use it jumping it doesnt move ?

See that’s what I was waiting for on your video earlier on the thread about TBs! My childhood pony was so good at that spoon and spin that when I took driving lessons I’d feel myself tensing as I approached plastic bags on the side of the road!

Honestly it very rarely happens but its easily sat ?as you can see he just plods on afterward lol
