HELP – Cleaning the dreaded white jodhpurs!

OK so I foolishly kept my best white jodhpurs on after a competition on Sunday and they got splattered with mud and I knocked my knee on the tow bar of the car so I know have a nice black oil stain on my knee (looking at the state of them you would think a 3year old had been wearing them)!

I put them straight in the wash but both stains are still there!!!!!

Please please suggest ideas as they are new and I have a big competition on Friday so need to work some magic by then!

Have you tried vanish?
As for oil stains, I would love to know people's suggestions. I have an oil stain on one of my pairs of competition breeches.

Have you tried vanish? That got the stain out mine as i too hit my knee of the tow bar and got a lovely big oily stain!

Either try 'Vanish'or you can use net curtain whitener, that really brings up white garments well or even 'Napisan' if it's still around. If the black oil stain is still giving trouble you can rub in eucalyptus oil & that should shift it.

Vanish spray and vanish powder, also we use bio washing powder and then rinse again in non bio if your skin is sensitive.

I tried the Vanish and it worked!!!! I left it to soak in on the oil stain and its still there but not enough for the judge to see!!!
