not really a proper competition question, but though i'd get more of a response in here (putting it up in cr and nl too though) . googles playing up and not searching anything, soo...

for my art gcse year 10 final piece in doing 3 canvases on 3 day eventing. wnted to incorporate some of the words that are related with dressage, sj and xc in it.

so for dressage.... eg Piaffe, side-step, leg-yield ect ect

show juming... jump-off, faults ect (if you can think of them)

cross country... haven't though of any yet apart from time penalties!

XC: how about speed and endurance, bravery, boldness, etc maybe some of the words that describe the rider and horses skills/characteristics rather than technical terms...just an idea!

Dress: elegant; submisson; engagement; grace

SJing: power;

just some ideas....

well if its to do with the disipines within eventing .... no jump-off for sj??

dressage - elligance, grace, team work(could go in any of them) presision

sj - style, performance, scope, bascule, flight.

xc - speed, adreniline, brave, bold, gallop, terrain.

hee hee i never know .....sometimes i look at words and it looks wrong even tho it is rite...... madness!

Why don't you look up the FEI definition of each and get words from them? This the dressage one has some good words like harmony etc

You'll have to put some pics up of your finished piece!
 
im gunna take some pics as i go along coz we need to use them in our corsework book i think, so shall post them

have a feeling its gunna be quite big tho as im using 3 14" x 16" canvases lol
 
dressage - half pass, flying changes, engagement

sj - rhythrm

xc - KICK ON!!, 'Hail a cab', or as some else has got in their sign - if in doubt KICK
