Background info: I have a 5yr old 16'1 when I brought him he jumped fine, one day took him in school and could not get over poles on ground. So found a instructor and we got him going again. He went to hers for boot camp whilst I was on holls was jumping a 2ft course on my return. All was good and I went out and did a couple of clear rounds nothing huge but we where there!

Last week he took to stoping shaply at a jump this is what he did before we got him going again. It has got to the point that last week I was holding mane and coming in sitting trot to try and be behind the movment.

I have to say I do come into jumps think oh my god! which I know dose not help.

So advice help pleae as I want to get him back on track but at the mo the thought of a pole on ground sends my legs to jelly

Mmm, might be an idea for you both to go back to basics for a while as it sounds like he's picking up on your apprehension.
He's only young so there's no rush but I would enlist the help of an instructor or knowledgeable chum.......

Good luck!!

There's your problem. You may be better to only jumping school masters - until you're confident yourself.
