As title really - my mare is on equisorb (flax) which I love as it's dust free (she has respiratory issues) and absorbent (she's very wet).

Because they have always delivered within a couple of days, I leave ordering until I'm down to my last 2 or 3 bags. Have just come online to order another pallet, and the website is up for sale, and companies house has liquidators being appointed end August 2024.

Pellets don't work for her as she digs up the base. There is space at the yard for a pallet, so I can order in bulk if I have to. I'm open to any suggestions although it has to be dust free..

What would be a good replacement please?

Aubiose would probably be the nearest, it’s hemp rather than flax but similar size pieces.
I haven’t seen any other flax bedding for a while.
If aubiose too spendy then a premium chopped rape would be the best bet

Having spent some with a top eventer last week, he decided to order a palette of every type of bedding on the market and gauge which worked best for his horses and grooms. Had to be dust free and absorbant, easy to muck out, good to break down on muck heap and comfortable for the horse. Caviera Raviera Rape Straw was their winner.

I feel your pain, mine were on Equisorb as well. Did use Pure Green from Mole Valley but they have stopped stocking it. Gone on to Aubiose but using much more, doesn’t seem as absorbent.
