My horse has been accused of a "horrendous and viscious attack!". I have offered to pay for the rug that was damanged and have also offered to keep my horse in every second day letting the pony that was attacked out on the days that my horse is in. I am going to get my mare tested for any hormonal imbalances. Putting up electic fencing is not possible as there is one horse that will destroy electic fencing and the ground is too muddy to hold the stabs.

Dose anyone have any ideas of anything wlse I can do?

thanks

Was it really that bad an attack, that they need separating? Horses do fight, its natural. If it was really bad how about putting a grazing muzzle on your horse. That way they can still go out together. But obviously if your horse is a poor does that may not be a option. can they not go in separate fields all together.

In my own experience, the best way to get round this is to turn your horse out with the pony she attacked on their own, they'll make friends that way :) Then you can reintroduce the others
