Help! Any farriers near Exeter, Devon?

Im really struggling to find a farrier anywhere near me! does anyone know of any that are good with youngsters as i have a pony that needs to be shod for the first time so i can finally get out on the road and a foal that needs a trim. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

depends which side and any specialists requests! There are about 4 that come to yard i'm at which is J28, although one does the majority including mine...

If you go onto the website http://www.farrier-reg.gov.uk/ you can put in your postcode and do a search for all the registered farriers in your area.

im in kenton near dawlish. im desperate as im breaking him and want to get some roadwork in before winter!

Isn't Bradley Greenham a farrier? He is from around Exeter, I believe.

I used to use Malcom Tribe when I was in Exeter - he may have taken early retirement by now, but he was a fantastic farrier. He did Surgical Shoeing with Hugh Salmon (Vet).

Why not give barefoot a go. Its working wonders for my two at the mo????

Give St Davids a call, they will know the decent farriers in that area, and I know they would be able to advise which not to use.
