Help! Anyone seen my mojo?

As it says on the tin, I have not been able to ride for some time, like most peeps, and now it has finally thawed and tomorrow hopefully I will be able to ride.I don't feel at all excited about it and would rather stay in bed!
Is this normal, or am I alone in my lack of motivation and enthusiasm? I have also been made redundant which doesn't help things I suppose!

Its probably frozen in ice with mine! Know how you feel though, its been very hard work in this weather and I think you forget how nice it is to ride. Hoping to ride myself tomorrow, thats if the fog doesnt stop us!

It flew past my window at about 2 pm heading towards Russia! I think it may be looking for the snow!
I bet after a good night's sleep, it will be back with you tomorrow

I was the same, managed to ride for the first time in 5 weeks today and it was great, especialy as Pads really behaved - I had been expecting a monster

Don't worry, everyone is feeling like this lately! I don't own a horse and spend my life scavenging rides, have two horses I can ride at the moment and just can't motivate myself to do it

its cold, xmas is over, we have depressing january to get through and then its feb an nearly spring! i love seeing the snowdrops and daffodils coming up then its a sign of life!

I would much rather be staying in bed and i havent been getting up much before 10. it will come back its just making the effort xxxx

I've been feeling the same but rode for the first time in 4 weeks yesterday and again this morning and feel raring to go again now! I think if you make yourself do it you'll feel much better.

I think my mojo might have flown off with your mojo, in fact I'm sure there's a whole flock of them right now heading off for warmer climates. I just found mine before Christmas (it had been hiding under my riding hat) and was riding my loony arab again after a couple of missing mojo months. Now it's gone again...darn it !!

yep mines with everyone elses flying high rite now ummm warm weather maybe next week when kids back at school it will reappear

don't worry, mine has got up and gone too. hoping i might find it when the yard thaws a little.

if my friend wasn't encouraging me to ride every day and hacking out with me, i would have given up. really hoping i can get some paddock riding in tomorrow.
