Help bedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help babe has a small stable and i bed her on shavings with banks the thing is he urines everywhere and i cant keep it clean without adding new shavings everyday which is very costly and i cant bed her on shraw cause she eats it and is prone to colic and laminatus please help i want her to have a nice bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A layer of super absorbent bedding under the shavings can work well like equisorb or aquamax. There was a post about it a few days ago I think.
 
Rubber mats if you have good drainage perhaps? Used these with a layer of easybed on top and it did the trick with my very wet gelding (wet in more ways than one

We always add new shavings as banks and then pull down old banks to add to the bed. The shavings seem to stay cleaner longer. The older shavings are a bit heavier (less fluffy) so the pee might not soak through them as quickly. Hope that makes sense it sounds odd, but does work.
 
The trick is to have a very, very good deep bed. Up until last week I was adding shavings every day for Thumper. But now that the bed is established and much deeper, I am managing to only use about three a week. Still a lot - however, some horses are just harder on their beds than others ultimately....
