Help CD's for freestyle

I am competing in our first freestyle on Saturday. I have the music all ready and licences and need to burn it to a new CD. Last weekend we did this and although it played on my car and lorry en route it then wouldn't play in the practice arena CD player? I'm not techy enough to know why and yet it would play other peoples Cd's.

Please can anyone advise me the safest bet for new Cd's to buy to burn it on to to ensure it plays at the competition venue.

Was it a PC/laptop that it was played on or an actual stereo system? Never known a CD to play on on player but not another unless it was something PC based.. if that makes sense?

Did you use a cd-rw? Just use cd-r as they play better. Also depends on the format you used to record it.

Agree with Britestar, don't use CD-RW. I use Audacity and then burn on with Nero - learnt through much trial and much error! Good luck.

as others have said CD_R is the best. Also was the CD player they were using MP3 compatible, some of the older ones arent which could have been your issue especially if you trial ran it in a newer car as all modern radios run MP3 CDs
