Help....cheap 4x4 needed !

hi i need a vehicle to tow my 16hh horse - cheap and cheerful though as on a budget - any ideas/experiences guys ?? looking at about £1000

I pick up cheap 4x4's - have never paid more than a grand!! Just take someone with you who knows about mechanics and HPI check it!! I just missed a Daihatsu fourtrack on ebay for just under £700, these are awsome towing vehicles - get an L reg onwards as the suspension is better and make sure the 4wd system is working as it can be a pain on these motors - good luck.
