help cheap trailer for my pony !!!

hi there i was hoping you could help me ? i am looking for a small trailer for my 14.1hh pony minstral he has been injured for a year and is now well enougth to do some easy classes at the shows so i have been looking for one but they all seem so expensive so i wondering if anyone knew of any for sale quite cheap , my dad and my grandad are good at reparing things so dont mind if it needs some work doing on it.
i live in nottingham so if anyone knows of any for sale around this area or close by it would be great if you could let me know.

hmmm... I'm not selling mine yet as cant afford to replace it yet, but will be soon as my youngster will be too big... hes 16h and growing... what sort of price you looking for??
 
The old style rear unload trailers are usually cheap - a sound but tatty one would go for around £550. I'm not a fan of rear unloads though because of the problem of getting ponies to stay in the trailer while you nip round the back and do the ramp up, but if you always have a helper you should be OK
 
A friend of mine has just taken delivery of a new trailer today & I think will want to sell their rear in & out Rice trailer. It was reconditioned about 12-18 months ago I think & is sound. It's even painted in pony club colours & is very airy as it has had 2 windows fitted at the front. They carried their 14h1" pony in it. I'll see them probably tomorrow & can find out if they want to sell & how much they want, if you are interested. I doubt it will be very much.

The trailer is near to junction 9 on M42. PM me if you are interested
