I'm in the process of looking for a new competition jacket for dressage.
My first jacket was an equetech invent jacket but it was always too big around my bust and made me look flat chested. So last year I treated myself to a pikuer Diana jacket. Everything fine but I haven't worn it for quite some time as I've been sick recovering from surgery.
In this time my boobs have blossomed from a 34C to a 34DD which is great as I feel more proportioned in my body. (I have very curvy hips)
As a result my lovely pikuer jacket doesn't fit around my boobs and across my shoulders and feels restrictive.
I've been in touch with a few websites as there isn't any decent shops I can go to try on, and have established what sort of size I would need if I have another pikuer jacket.
Unfortunately there is a thread currently on the BD website about a pikuer jacketed being ruined in the rain. The fabric has gone all crinkled and dry cleaning and ironing won't fix it. The problem seems to be with both jackets and tails coats and pikuer who know about this issue don't want to take liability for sorting the problem etc... Apparently their jackets arnt designed to be worn in the rain.....but are washable?! Hmmmm!
So I feel a little put off getting another jacket the same. So I've been looking at the cavallo jackets and like the look of the Goldstern and the Grannus designs as they seem similar in style to the pikuer.
Does anyone have either of these jackets and what are your thoughts?
Or can you all recommend something for me that is showerproof (not going to get wrecked in the rain), longer in length like the pikuer (I like to keep my bum covered when not mounted, navy with or without velvet collar I'm not fussed, and just have elegant lines.
Many thanks
