help!! dirty patch i can't get rid of!!!

My lovely grey boy has a brown patch on his bottom. It can't be poo as none of his are ever flattened in the morning (he's quite particular about where he sleeps!) so I'm guessing it's wee. The thing is I have tried EVERYTHING to wash it off and I actually think it might have stained his coat for good.

Have any of you got any tips for getting rid of it (without dissolving his skin, I did almost consider bleach in a desperate moment

gallop shampoo for greys is very good, a girl at my yard uses it on her filthy grey.

One of my driving ponies has one yellow thigh all winter. He lies where he wees.

No shampoo or stain remover I've tried makes a blind bit of difference. It's not clean until he moults and his summer coat comes through and then I wash it nearly every day or the same thing happens.

It's a stain, sorry. Just keep washing. If you need it gone for a show - whitener powder applied with a damp sponge does the trick.
