Help Farrier/barefoot trimmer in chichester/fontwell area

Hi I really need some help,
I'm trying to change my girl from shod to barefoot on her back feet. My usual farrier isn't being at all helpful about this, cagey even, now this could be anything from not really knowing enough about the subject to advise or see's it as not as profitable as shoeing. Having done some research it seems he hasn't trimmed her as he should have done for barefoot (took off all excess growth like it would be receiving a shoe again) now I don't know much about all this and it would be really helpful to me to have a farrier that would give me some feedback on how we need to proceed and what to expect after all if you can't ask your farrier then who can you ask.

So do any of you lovely people have experience with a great farrier that does barefoot work that works around the Chichester area? I need to measure her up for hoof boots but to do this her feet need to be freshly seen and rasped if needed so I can get the right measurements.

Any information about farriers or even experiences with barefoot and/or hoof boots will be greatfully received.

thanks for that pines of rome, Ive just had a quick look at his website and it all makes sense. My horse had never even worn anything on her legs before so I've been putting overreach boots on her when turned out to get her used to things being on down there. She is quite close behind and one thing that concerns me is that the boots are going to be bulky and she'll brush herself.
What boots do you use and do they stop you doing anything?
 
My boy is quite close behind as well, but is ok in his boots, we did have the funny walks to start with! I use the cavallo treks, which we get on with and so easy to put on.
My horse has a lot of problems, but if he didn't he probably would not need boots, quite a few horses after a little bit of time, go on to work bare just fine and most do not need hind boots at all.
I am in Fontwell, so you might have seen us out!
 
The Cavallo Treks are the ones that caught my eye but I've only been able to research things online and have never actually seen any hoof boot in the flesh as I don't know anyone that uses them. I have only seen pictures and read what people have said about the different ones (bit of a minefield) and I've no idea how bulky they are. We are also in Fontwell, we've probably not seen you out and about as we haven't been around much lately due to a accident I had hence why he has had his back shoes removed and now needs boots!

Would you be willing to let me come and have a look at your boots and maybe see them on your boy?
I'm never usually this forward but my brain is completely frazzled by the whole thing. I'm having a bit of trouble measuring him up for them as he's a bit of a nervous fidget bum and getting him to stand long enough to get it done is a task in itself. I'm a bit worried I will end up buying the wrong size and not be able to send them back (very expensive mistake) so to see some on a horse that actually fit well will give me some idea as to what there supposed to look like on.
