Help: Farriers Chelmsford

Just moved into the area and in desperate need of a farrier theres so many :/ Does anyone have any recomendations??? Good farrier without a stupid price looking to pay upto about £65 a set an £20 for a trim as i have 3 horses one with shoes and two foals who just have trims.
THANKS!!! any suggestions would be appreciated
also any farriers to stay away from.

Lloyd Cotter is great if you can get on his books - his the best.

If not Laura Elvin is great and fantastic with the babies.

I use John Simpson and I'm really pleased with him, he's a really nice guy, punctual and easy to get hold of, he also does a lovely job on my boy I pay £69 for a full set with road nails.

Are you stabled in chelmsford? I keep my horse in Roxwell. I use a farrier called Dan White who is based in Waltham Abbey. He charges £60 for a full set xx

If not Laura Elvin is great and fantastic with the babies.

She went to the same RS as me back in the darkest depths of history. She used to threaten to eat my horse on toast.

My farrier's moved to Devon He was fab too... Reckons he'll keep coming back up to do regulars for trims but I'm not sure he won't settle down there and not want to.
