Also in the Tackroom thread - only just discovered this one!

I have just moved to the area and I can't believe how few places in Cambridgeshire turn out!

I'm looking for livery on the west side of Cambridge for Dressage & SJ.
MUST Have:
All day EVERY day (inc winter) turnout, not bothered if its not grazing, but it does need to be turnout.
Stable at night for large horse.
20x60 school with lights
Spaces!

Everything else is optional although reasonable hacking would be great.

Preferably full/part/assisted livery, but may consider DIY if its in the right location (basically between St Neots & Cambridge)

Any suggestions gratefully received, I've investigated the following so far:

Houghton Hall (not enough turnout)
Moats Way (Ditto)
Meadow Lane (Full)
Long Drove Dressage (Also Full)

Thanks

I'm sorry about the PM thing, I don't know why its missing I'll ask admin.

Sadly yes that is too far really, although I'll add it to the plan B list.
Plan C is me moving house.

There are a number of small livery yards tucked away in the villages off the A14 - Lolworth, Boxworth, Knapwell, Willingham, Swavesy etc - but they don't necessarily advertise. Your best bet might be to have a good drive around the area and introduce yourself anywhere that looks promising.

Sedgeway Equestrian Centre is on the Huntingdon side of Ely and might be more the kind of thing you're after. They have a website so are a bit easier to find as well.

There is a very active facebook group called Horsepoo Cambridge, which is well worth checking out if you haven't already found it.

Daily turn-out plus a floodlit school seems hard to find in Cambs. There are also fewer large livery yards than I'm used to (I grew up in north London/ South Herts), and far more people who keep horses at home or on small private yards.
