I look after a nutter of a cockapoo a couple of days a week and I'm looking for a suitable toy for him. He's a lovely boy and loves his toys but he does destroy them. He's destroyed some of the soft toys that belong to another dog I look after by ragging them around and pulling out the stuffing. I bought him a rope toy but he started shredding the rope so I took it off him as I was worried he'd ingest the bits. I do have an antler chew but he's not really interested in it. He needs a floppy toy that will survive being ragged around but with no stuffing. It also needs to be reasonably soft and light so when he accidentally lets go of it it doesn't take out the TV 😀 Does anyone have any suggestions or am I looking for a something that doesn't exist?

Dog toys are unknown territory as I've only ever had GSDs in the past and they've never been interested in toys only footballs and tennis balls.

Thanks in advance.

Kong Wubbas come in at least 2 sizes and are quite robust. They look like a 4 legged octopus, iyswim, made of very robust fabric, with the body being a fabric covered ball. Our Rottweilers loved the bigger ones and kept them for ages, the Labs wanted to take the balls out of the middle.

Can recommend the KONG tumbler ball. My youngster eats through every toy, except this one. The ball has handles and another ball inside which makes a noise. It's the only tough toy that she loves and has survived.

I also have the Kong wubbas for my most destructive one, everything else we tried was a fail, in 3 years she has only managed to nibble through one ear and a part of a nose on her favourite one.
