As title!help!have never had a non food orientated horse before. Is extremely suspicious of anything new in a bucket so putting into feed isn't an option. Doesn't tend to eat things whole so putting into a hollow carrot or apple wouldn't work. Haven't attempted to syringe yet but may be only option. Any other suggestions?thanks

I syringe it into my horse. She ends up licking the cup clean despite refusing to even touch a feed with antibiotics in! Odd horse.

Golden syrup sandwiches?
Tried these with my horse and was quite successful. Problem is there is quite a lot of powder to disguise!

Made a molasses syrup, horse couldn't resist as generally on a molasses free diet.
Poured that on a bit of speedibeet.

I tried everything, molasses, custard powder, mint, garlic.... Nothing worked.

The solution was simple, handful pony nuts and chaff in bucket, medication in then put on water mixed with tiny bit molasses (bit like squash) if fed straight away no joy, if left overnight to soak then fed it is gobbled up like best thing ever ! ( just make sure your antibiotics are OK to soak overnight)
