Help - getting biro out of leather in car!

I know it shouldn't be in here but more in here at mo and sis got biro on the leather interior of bosses brand new top of the range Range Rover whilst fence judging at Stafford BE this morning and it won't come out!

Have tried white spirit and no good

I put biro on the cream leather seats of our SUV by accident and it worked! You just need to use lots of elbow grease!

Phone Range Rover dealer....you could do more harm than good to the leather dye if you attack it with just about anything!!

Im sure they will be able to advise you.

Hairspray will shift it....I used it on my leather bag.

Oops it wasn't the leather but the plastic on the glove box and the white spirit sis tried on it has taken the outer off it

Fortunately she has rung boss and he is ok about it, sis is funding a replacement glove box and has bought him a bottle of whisky.

OH is a car valeter and says that a new glove box will be massive amounts of money. He would be able to sort it but obviously you are miles away. If you have a good valeter in your area they will be able to put you in touch with someone that does smart repairs. They should be able to repaint the plastic which will cost alot less!!

Having had our RR broken into & glove box smashed a new one (through a dealer) will be about £200
