Move yards?
Join a riding club?
Find a sharer...they can be great fun and support?
Go competing at weekends?
Go to PC camp?
See if you can get a buddy and go on a long distance ride with horsey B + B?
Swap horses with a (suitable) fellow livery for a week?
Take up golf?????

16 is that funny age for young riders. So many teenagers temporarily give up the horsey life for other interests - boys, friends, socialising, etc.

You are in the 'oh so lucky' position of having your own horse - something a lot of young riders would die for. Don't give up - get a sharer for the time being so that you can have more time to broaden your horizons without bailing out altogether.

Thank you for all your help (except shildasdair) i WOULD never send my horse to a taxi dermist (who the hell would) i intend to keep her and not put her out on share, i am going to pursue my horse riding to its full potentail and will get back to you .

thats great to hear, wish you luck with your competing, will b watching you at badmington in a few years then hopefully as you have age and confidence on your side, keep it up
