Hi

I have just been informed by my current yard that all the liveries need to leave within 2 months!

I am looking for either DIY or part livery or grazing within easy access from south London (Crystal Palace). Ideally near a train station as I dont have a car at the moment (but will be getting one soon hopefully!). I am not too worried about having fancy facilities as I need the cost to be as low as possible as Im just about to have a baby. Minimum requirements are decent grazing and access to some kind of off road riding.

If anyone knows of anything please get in touch!

Alternativley if anyone is looking for a companion horse please let me know!

Thanks :)

Izzy

Probably worth looking around Bromley Common or Biggin Hill, can't recommend anywhere specifically though. Most yards in both these areas would be accessible by the 320 bus from Bromley South station. Or Bexley, is that too far? Can give you the details of somewhere that does grass livery and has access to forestry although don't know if they'll have space.

Thanks Duckling, Yes please send me the details as Bexley a bit far out but not too far. Definitely worth considering! Thanks again :)

I work in crystal palace, ended up moving further out because if livery situation! There is also Wickham Court Farm, which is in west wickham its really lovely there, but usually a waiting list.

Also I seem to remember that there are some yards by gravel hill, which is on the tram route.

There is Bromley Common Livery's on Bromley common a bus ride from bromley but from palace on the bus will take about an hour - last time I was there it was a huge barn but not too well kept, but they have a sandschool, lunge pen and turn out

Otherwise in my direction is coulsdon city farm, and some smaller yards in the caterham/coulsdon area

Hope you find something soon!
