I just put up a prize on MMH (a dressage and show jumping training holiday in Portugal) and I hope I haven't worded the competition page so it reads it's for experienced riders only - I was careful not to (and have read it back and read it back) so need some advice, as more people are entering for the Dubarry boots ??? It's close, don't get me wrong but I was thinking the holiday would be top all the way through. The ONLY negative is you have to pay for flights BUt i go regularly and have never paid more than £100 return all through the year so do you think that would put people off?

When I went the first time, I was certainly classed beginner - by no means experienced, eek but learnt bundles - this place changed everything and I have never looked back and hence why I secured this prize, which I am delighted with.

Any advice would really be greatfully received - a few tweaks might make the difference and my brain is numb from working on these constantly for the last two weeks. comp page I just want it to sound right for the members :)

I think that it might be just because its a week away? Although it sounds like a totally amazing prize, it would cost me a small fortune (and never mind my nerves about leaving them alone), to leave my 3 horses and dog with someone for the week - and thats excluding getting the time for my OH and I off work/uni.

I think it sounds fine, don't worry! Its just something that alot of people may not be able to do.

ah ok thank you sincerely for that - i just didn't want to be putting anyone off for the wrong reasons. It is really so hard to get the right prizes sometimes - lessons for instance, even with the top trainers are far less popular than you'd think (given travelling and the time involved etc) but you know what - rugs are always the most popular. Thats given me an idea for next year :) May I'll do my very own advent calendar!! ;)
