A 168cm 5 yo middle weight horse is competing in horse trails training events in the spring.

How much is the total feed?

State the amount of concentrates and hay the horse would gat in three feeds.

Thanks - its for an assessment report, not a actual horse!

Thats very broad!!?? For example, my boy will be exactly that, but will be practically on fresh air cos he's a fatty, but someone doing the same may have a TB that doesnt keep weight on, so will be on loads!?? Usual rules is should have a min of 1% bodyweight of foage a day, and forage intake should be more than concentrate... but other than that....

What a strange question!!
As without stating and more to the point seeing (with your own eyes) an individual horse, you can't say 'exactly' what it should be feed..

But if you want, my horse is a 5yr old, and started out doing a few intro events last spring.. He can be [to put it politely] a little sh1t!!
He was on adlib hay (as all mine are) and 1scope of horse and pony nuts, and 1scpoe of Alfa Oil a day (depending on behaviour).

Pony Club answer would be total feed of 2.5% bodyweight per day split somewhere between 30-70 and 40-60% concentrates to forage depending on type, condition, temperament, etc., feeding no more than 2 kg per feed. Don't know if that helps at all?
