I have a western general performance saddle, and I'm trying to sell it! I used to use it on my 11.2, but it's always been a bit snug, and I don't want to risk any damage to her back. Anyway, before I decide to sell, I need to know how I measure it!

Thanks!! :)

P.S if anyone would be interested in buying it, I'm in the West Midlands and will be looking for about £200 for it, it's worth £360!

I was going to say you would need to know the seat size (which is two inches smaller than the English) and whether it is full or semi bars. I have no clue how you tell what sort of bars it is - I took mine to a Western saddler to sell it and she just looked at it and said 'oh, it's full QH bars', as if that was terribly obvious. Then I saw it was for an 11.2. If you are putting it on ebay I would stick the tape measure on it in a number of poses and photograph it.
In compensation for this useless answer, I did find you this helpful article: http://www.horsesaddleshop.com/how-to-measure-your-saddle.html#.UieKmxZyGlI
