Help - how do you put images in posts??

Hi, can anyone explain how you copy photos into your posts so you can see the actual image rather than just a weblink?
it's really annoying me i can't do it...!

Paste the IMG code from photobucket into the thread

oh ok, thanks. do they have to be in photobucket then, you can't do it from any old internet site?!
