help!!!i am too scared to ring my vet!!!

my hadb a horrific accident but has now supposedly recovered, however i got her in tonite to take her for a walk and she has got fluid above her fetlock...does anyone have any idea why??? oh and it is on her back le...seems like both back legs but more on one side!agh

because he thinks i worry too much...because i call him when my horse has not much wrong with it. you know what vets r like...it has to b major to b worth worrying about...but not for me...i am going to ring him tomoro...i have decided!

Hotellie...never, ever be scared to ring your vet. For starters, you are the customer and your custom pays their salaries. Secondly, any vet worth their salt would sooner be called out unnecessarily rather than not be called out and something awful happens. Let us know what happens x

i have rung him, he came today and sed the accident that happened was a complete red herring! some of the fluid has leaked out of the joint and collected above the fetlock but she should be fine to ride...so i dont really know if it is gd or bad???

Some of the fluid leaked out of the joint? Are you sure that is exactly what he said? If so - on no account ride the horse and get him back immediately. If on the other hand he said that it was a bursa or oedema it should reduce with time.
