Help. I don't know what to do!

It seems my barefoot horse is prone to getting fish stuck to the bottom of his feet. Somebody told me they were frogs but I can't see how as I can't see any legs sticking out.

I was told to turn him out in a pond and the fish would swim away, but I'm worried he will get trench foot if I do this.

I.m worried sick as my horse has taken to leaping about like a spring lamb so these fish, or frogs or whatever they are are obviously bothering him. Is there anything I can feed him to help free the fish?

Any advice greatly appreciated as I don't want my horse to suffer!

I wouldn't feed if I were you. Best course of action is to cut them off - at the knees. Slows the spring lamb leaping around considerably

Or alternatively if you don't fancy cutting them off at the knee, you could use an angle grinder and just grind them down to the knee
