Hi everyone I know this is a long shot but can anyone help me with some advice?

Piglet is a few days old, Sow died and now this is the runt of the litter. It seems the other sows have taken on the other piggies no problem but this one is super thin and one of its eyes seem to have closed up? My friend has been feeding it via bottle but I have offered to bring it home tomorrow as I have more time on my hands.

I have checked online about feeding it, she's feeding cows milk as this is the first time this has happened,I'm trying to source goats milk.... is this right?

Any help is really appreciated xxx

Friend of mine took in the runt of a litter this year, she kept her inside at home, litter trained her and also slept with her dog in the dog bed. Lovely little thing. It was quite sad to see her go. Hope your one thrives :)

Keep it really warm!!! Try and get a hold of sow milk but in the mean time cows milk will be fine, there eyes wont open properly untill its a week old sometimes longer

One eye is really closed, if it is still the same tomorrow I will take it to the vet but I thought I should give it a day or so incase this is normal.

I have no idea about pigs but just want to try and help keep it alive and well.

Thanks for all replies so far xxx

Im working on a blast from the past here when I did my HND Biol, I did 3 month at a vet clinic in N. Yorks (pig country) I went round collecting Colostrum (spare) from cows, it was treated (pasturised) and frozen for the use of piglets.
This was the place
