This is a picture of my 27 year old mare, I got her a year and a half ago, and love her to bits! Her advert said she was an Irish X, but i'm not too sure. People have said she has got a bit of Clydesdale in her? She is 14.3hh. This picture is the picture on the advert of her a year and a half ago - and its not me riding her, so no criticism about her posture etc as I don't know her lol ;)

I would say she has clydesdale in her of possibly shire due to markings on legs

Surely she is too short to be any of those breeds? Personally i'd say she didnt have enough feather for them either. Also I think the fact the pony is slightly on the large size that it makes her look heavier than she is

I'd definitely be inclined toward Section D
My old Sec D had very similar if not higher leg markings, so not just a clydesdale thing :)

She isn't to
Short my friend had a cob x Clydesdale and he stood at 14.2
I would say a full but I would say a half breed at least

I'm thinking she's definitely got a bit of Welsh D in her. The general stance and bone are similar to that of a welsh, but I wouldn't say fully welsh, her face isn't very welsh from what I can tell.

Clydesdale is a possibility but she doesn't have enough bone/feather/height to have much of clydesdale in her breeding.

.

I have a full welsh D old fashioned type very similar to this mare and he hasn't a typical welsh head either, yet has all the paperwork to prove his breed!! they don't all look like pop eyed seahorses!!

Sec D x coblet mix :D

I have a shire x that is 15.2 so wouldnt rule out clydie x due to height however I could only see clydie at a push in the hind quaters.

Whatever she is she looks lovely

Looks very welsh but what is her action like? Does she move from her shoulder like a TB or knees up like a cob?
She has a really high action, and looks amazing in tron, she pulls her head in and prances about - like fresians do!
P.S. I am not in any way, shape or form, saying she is part fresian! :) I was just using it as a comparison lol :D:D
